Representatives of the Marriott Kauai Beach Club, Waiohai Beach Club and the Ritz-Carlton Club & Residencies and Festival staff welcomed guests to the Friday evening party with fragrant leis from Hawaii.

Hosted by the Marriott Kauai Beach Club, Waiohai Beach Club and the Ritz-Carlton Club & Residencies, the Friday evening party was an exciting celebration for patrons and artists to share great conversation and fabulous fare at the Ojai Art Center.

Pianist Gil Kalish and Dawn Upshaw enjoyed a standing ovation at the Saturday morning recital and as a “gift” to the Festival audience, Ms. Upshaw performed a Schubert piece of springtime renewal – a perfect way to end a deeply moving concert.

The incomparable Dawn Upshaw returned for her third Ojai Festival, giving audiences a special musical tribute of what she informally referred to as a “recital of her favorite things."
