Although the upcoming Festival will mark George's debut in Ojai,
he is steeped in the Ojai tradition through his close relationships
with our alumni including Olivier Messiaen, Pierre Boulez, and
Pierre-Laurent Aimard.
George embodies Ojai's commitment of introducing exciting,
virtuosic artists. Frankfurt-based Ensemble Modern, described as
the "best contemporary music group in the world" by
The New
Yorker, makes its West Coast debut at Libbey Bowl.
