5:30pm
cocktails, dinner and concert

Romance and music will surround the Ojai Music Festival’s Gala and Concert, To Ojai with Love, on Saturday, February 12, at the historic five-diamond Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, with a rare piano recital by Robert Spano, last seen as the 2006 Music Director for the 60th anniversary of the Festival. Spano, recognized as one of the most imaginative conductors of our time, will lend his talents as pianist performing works of Bernstein and Brahms and as composer with the west coast premiere of his work, under water, based on Debussy’s Engulfed Cathedral. To Ojai with Love Gala and Concert precedes Spano’s national tour with famed bass-baritone Eric Owens, which culminates at Carnegie Hall on February 20, 2012.
