Festival Artistic Director Thomas W. Morris and ArtsJournal.com editor Douglas McLennan will discuss the artists and music of this year’s exciting June Festival (June 7-10, 2012).

Learn how American composer John Luther Adams finds music in the very rocks and trees around us. Have you been introduced to the artistry of Martin Fröst yet? He’s the rock star of the clarinet who’s changing the way we hear his instrument, and we’ll show you how. And then there are Leif Ove Andsnes and Marc Andre Hamelin, superstar pianists whose two-piano version of Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring will make you hear this iconic piece in a way you’ve never experienced. It’s a lot more than taking notes written for the orchestra and playing them on a piano.
