share a memorable Festival experience:
So hard to choose - but I think it may have been a two-year-old
one evening dancing to some modern music - I want to think it was
Stravinsky’s The Soldier’s Tale. This little kid
was bouncing around, in tune, under a full moon - in the lawn area.
It was magic!
What
are you looking forward to for June 2010?
Honestly - I haven't even thoroughly looked at the program! I just
know I will love the ambiance, the music, and the lectures. And
I am sure you will have a magic surprise, like the special late
night concert of recorders last year!
What
other "must-do" Ojai activities will you engage in during this
year's Festival?
I shall stay at the Krishnamurti retreat - Oak Grove. I am not
especially philosophical, but the location is so peaceful and the
people at the breakfast (included :-)) are SOOOO interesting and
mostly they have attended the Festival. Last year we were almost
late for a performance because we were so busy chatting about music
in general and the Ojai Festival music in particular.
