Our Green Plan and Ways You Can Go Green too!
- Zero Waste Stations—Throughout Libbey Park and Bowl, we will provide zero waste stations to ensure that all waste is disposed of with as little impact on the environment as possible.
- BYO—To help minimize waste we will encourage patrons to bring their own water bottles, bags, and containers for food.
- Re-fill and Re-use—Water refilling stations will be provided as a free service for those who wish to bring their own water bottles or purchase reusable water bottles at our Festival concessions.
- Car Pool—We will encourage ride-sharing to the Festival.
- Take a Bike—At the park, we will provide bike racks for those who wish to bike their way to the Festival.
- Eat Organic and Local—Our food concessions will have meals made with locally grown products for your enjoyment.
- Buy Organic—At our Festival concessions booth, we will have a “green” section selling items featuring organic cotton for tees, hats, bags as well as reusable Chico bags and reusable water bottles.
- Carbon Offsets—The Festival calculated our carbon footprint at CarbonFund.org. We will be making a donation to the local Carbon Fund to offset our travel emissions. At the Festival, patrons can also make a donation at our “Go Green” booth.
